There is science to prove that being generous has a number of health and happiness benefits, but for some people, you’re already naturally generous so when you give more you are actually over-drawing your generosity bank account. Luckily, there are a few skills you can learn that will help you manage your generosity so you can get ahead (and even thrive!) without quitting giving all together.
Hi! I’m Tara.
I’m an over-giving critical care nurse turned public relations agency founder.
I know, those two things don’t seem like they go together so let me give you the short version of the story…
I spent 10 years working as a critical care nurse and I realized I have a knack for:
translating what doctors were saying into words that patients and families could use to make informed decisions;
helping families communicate with one another during stressful and vulnerable times; and
helping people who had been in tragic accidents bounce back from rock bottom into a life where they felt truly happy (even if their accident had left them disabled).
So, I moved to New York City and decided to see how I could meet people when they are thriving with the hope that nobody would have to hit rock bottom in order to be happy. When I got here, I started a coaching practice and managed to get featured in the media every 2 weeks for 2 years. After that I became a sought after publicity strategist and so I founded Rae Media Group in 2018.
I continue to coach, speak, and write about what I’ve learned so I can help more generous people, like you, who just want to help others understand how they can change the world and help themselves by harnessing your generosity so you live in the sweet spot of success. To me, that’s the real zone of genius.
